This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use both our website and our Services and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
The Southwark Works service is paid for by Southwark Council. Southwark Works is a network of employment support organisations who have come together to help you find the right job. Your personal information is collected at registration and may be passed on to the partner organisation(s) which can best support your needs.
These organisations are:
- JC Consultant Services (JCCS) – manages the network and runs the hub office at Walworth Rd
- St Giles Trust – works with ex-offenders, people at risk of homelessness and with young people 16-25
- Renaisi – works with people over 50+ and / or people with health conditions and disabilities
- Unity Works (Camden Society, Bede and Toucan) support for people with Learning Disabilities and Learning Difficulties
- Thames Reach – supports people who have mental health needs or who are wishing to progress in work
- Twin Training International – works with young people aged 16-25
- Pecan – works with people who are parents or unpaid carers
- Bounce Back Foundation – works with people who have substance misuse issues
- Step Ahead – supporting people to find apprenticeships
If you do not want the organisation(s) to have access to your data, we will not be able to offer you a service.
Only the organisation(s) you are working with directly will be able to access your information. Your personal data will be securely retained for six years and destroyed in line with the council’s retention policy.
Once referred, your employment adviser will endeavour to contact you in the most helpful way for you; this may be by telephone, post, text or email, please let your adviser know which is most suitable. They may also need to share your information with training providers and employers whilst trying to help you find work. Please sign below to show you agree to this.
Southwark Council may use your personal information to:
- improve services and monitor the delivery of employment support contracts
- track Southwark employment trends
