About the Role

Lively Sprout is looking for an energetic and confident Sports Coach to deliver engaging after-school sessions for primary-aged children (5–11 years). Open to coaches specialising in football, basketball, tennis, netball, cricket, multi-sports or similar. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and can bring fun, structure, and confidence-building through sport.

SE17 Monday, Tuesday or Thursday | 3:30–4:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Deliver fun and engaging sports sessions in your specialist area
• Teach basic skills, coordination, and teamwork
• Create a positive, inclusive and energetic environment
• Support children in building confidence and healthy activity habits
• Manage behaviour effectively in a group setting

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong coaching background in your sport
• Confident leading a group independently
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Freelance basis: Coaches must be registered as self-employed and have a UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference)
