kitchen Assistant

M.Manze a family run business for 120years are seeking a kitchen assistant for back of house in our shop in Tower Bridge Road.

40-60hours per week. Flexible shifts. Overtime often available.

Shifts rage from:
6.45am-2.30pm, 6.45am-6pm, 8am-3pm

Kitchen experience preferred however not necessary as full training will be provided in house. You will also be provided with Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualifications, once course has been completed.

You will be involved in the process of manufacturing pies, which will include the making of pastry, processing of meat etc, and use of the machinery, which may be necessary during the process.

You may also be required to work on the hotplate which includes cooking mash, liquor and eels and to bake pies at times.

General cleaning is of great importance and it is expected that you shall be able to do this to a good standard. Cleaning duties may include the washing of the pie dishes, all utensils and machinery used in the kitchen, and the cleaning of the floor, walls, ceiling and the requirements of the cleaning schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
