Job Purpose

We are looking for a committed team member who can support with the delivery of HR administrative services for a local publisher. Minimum 1 year HR experience required.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurately process all HR administration of employee life-cycle events from onboarding to departure.
  • Own all HR administrative processes including but not limited to contracts, letters, recruitment, induction, references, exit interviews, organisational charts, probation, benefit schemes, and work experience.
  • Preparation of all relevant data for payroll in a timely manner and ensure the payroll report is updated.
  • Support the HR Business Partner and HR Director with the payroll process and liaise with the payroll provider.
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR administrative and general queries.
  • Post vacancies on agreed recruitment channels.
  • Input all staff information on HR system ensuring it is always kept up to date.
  • Keep employee’s electronic files up to date.
  • Monitor and manage the HRSupport and Talent inbox, ensuring emails are responded to in a timely manner or escalated to the HR Business Partner for support, and saved in employee files.
  • Create, update and own HR processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collate HR survey data such as exit interviews, equality questionnaires, etc.
  • Identify improvements to employee life cycle events to the HR Business Partner.
  • Provide administrative support on an ad-hoc and project basis as necessary.
  • Note taking at formal meetings, e.g. disciplinary, grievance, redundancy when required.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the HR department, such as filing paperwork, managing correspondence, and organizing HR-related events or meetings.
  • Always maintain confidentiality and ensure that letters or forms do not breach data protection legislation.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a HR or payroll role


  • CIPD Level 3 Qualifications or working towards


  • Entry level job into HR
