About the role
Sodexo Live! is looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join the Catering and Hospitality Team at Craven Cottage, home of Fulham FC.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in hospitality and work at one of London’s best-known football venues. You’ll be part of the team helping to deliver a great experience for supporters, guests and visitors on matchdays and at events.
No previous hospitality experience is required – what’s most important is having a positive attitude, being willing to learn and being comfortable working as part of a busy team.
What you could be doing
Your duties may include:
- Welcoming and serving customers in a friendly and professional way
- Taking food and drink orders and serving customers
- Preparing and setting up hospitality and catering areas
- Serving food and drinks at bars, counters or hospitality areas
- Clearing tables and keeping customer areas clean and tidy
- Supporting the wider catering team during busy periods
- Helping with event set-up and close-down
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Providing good customer service throughout the event
- Working with colleagues to make sure events run smoothly
What we’re looking for
You don’t need previous hospitality experience, but you should:
- Have a positive and friendly attitude
- Enjoy working with people and providing good customer service
- Be reliable and willing to work flexible shifts, including matchdays and events
- Be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Be able to stay calm and focused when things get busy
- Work well as part of a team
- Be willing to learn and take direction
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to follow instructions and basic health and safety procedures
- Be comfortable being on your feet and active during shifts
The role can be busy, particularly during matchdays, so you should be prepared to work at pace, communicate with your team and keep a positive attitude when the venue is busy.
