About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join the team at Blend.

You’ll be responsible for running the coffee operation, preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, and making sure every customer receives a consistently excellent experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to brand standards
• Maintain excellent espresso calibration, milk quality and presentation
• Take responsibility for coffee quality and daily checks
• Dial in coffee and maintain consistent standards
• Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the coffee bar
• Keep the coffee bar clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards
• Keep required records up to date
• Open and close the coffee bar unsupervised
• Provide warm, engaging and knowledgeable customer service
• Build positive relationships with regular customers
• Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Work closely with management on coffee selection and standards

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience working as a Barista
• Has strong technical coffee knowledge, including espresso, milk texturing and workflow
• Has a genuine interest in specialty coffee and hospitality
• Has confident communication skills
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Takes pride in quality and consistency
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is positive, proactive and customer focused
• Works well as part of a team
• Is open to regular feedback and committed to learning and improving
• Has flexible availability, including weekends
