There are a number of long-term positions based across busy construction sites in Central London.
This is a unique opportunity for individuals looking to progress within the industry. The contractor will fund leading candidates to undertake the necessary training to obtain their blue skilled worker CSCS and NVQ.
The successful candidates’ duties will primarily be supporting Groundworkers in their duties but is not limited to the following:
- Creating access routes to the site
- Digging trenches for foundations
- Digging trenches for drainage
- Loading and unloading vehicles ensuring the load is secure and safe
- Operating power tools
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Previous onsite experience working for a Demolition/Groundworks Contractor
- Be a Southwark resident
- Have full PPE – Hi Vis, Hard Hat, Glove, Goggles and Steel Toe Boots
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Hold a valid Green CSCS card
