We are looking for a proactive and student-focused International Student Advisor to join our London based International Student Advice team.

This is an exciting time to join the University of Law as we as have experienced significant growth in our international student numbers.  We have thirteen campuses throughout the UK, as well as in Hong Kong and Berlin, with additional global reach through online and face to face provision. International Student Advice is part of our Student Immigration Compliance & Advice department, which also comprises of English Language Assessment and Visa Compliance.

In this student facing role, you will be the first point of contact for international students regarding any immigration queries, and will provide them with high quality and timely advice.  Your specialist knowledge of immigration information and requirements will ensure prospective and current students are able to successfully navigate the Student Route (formerly Tier 4) and other immigration routes in line with Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner guidelines.  You will also provide front-line support to staff and students at inductions and through in-person meetings and drop-in sessions.

For this role, you will need to have previous experience of advising international students on UK study-related immigration and visas in an education setting.  You will also have knowledge of Home Office regulations governing student migration and the ability to convey complex and sensitive information in an appropriate manner to different audiences.
