We are looking for a Housing Pathways Coordinator to train advocates and keyworkers around housing and homelessness legislation impacting on women affected by the criminal justice system. Also, you will develop partnerships with local authorities and other housing providers in various boroughs across London to improve housing outcomes for women involved in the criminal justice system.

  Key responsibilities include:

Identify & strengthen links with local authorities and other housing providers to support the development of housing pathways

Support the utilisation of Private Rented Sector accommodation as a housing option

Build and maintain links with housing law solicitors and local law centres to provide a point of contact for key workers

Deliver training and workshops on housing law, homelessness and move on pathways to keyworkers based within the women centres/hubs.

Provide advice on grants available in each borough for the client group

  To be successful in the role you will require: 

Experience of supporting vulnerable people within the housing sector

Experience and knowledge of housing legislation.

Ability to build effective, professional working relationships both internally and externally.

Knowledge of the impact that contact with the criminal justice system and imprisonment have upon women and their children.

Experience of developing and delivering housing legislation training to professionals.
