Are you supporting young people who will be eligible for Kickstart but who need some extra help to get them job ready?

Lewisham College is delivering a Pre-Kickstart course in association with Lewisham Council and DWP. This will help to prepare young people for the Kickstart placements which are expected in the next few weeks.

This Pre-Kickstart course will help participants to:

• Consider their own job goals and employment potential
• Motivation and confidence in preparing for work
• Improve their CV
• Promote themselves and prepare for a job interview
• Manage their finances when in employment
• Complete their Kickstart application (where relevant)

Learners will receive a certificate after successful course completion.

This course will all be delivered online, and participants will need to have access to a computer and internet connection.

Pre-assessment:                            Friday 19^th February 2021

Start date:                                        Monday 22^nd February 2021

End date:                                          Friday 26^th February 2021

Duration: 5 days (Mon to Fri) 10am to 4pm

Location: Remote – online

Further courses will be run if there is sufficient demand.

Eligibility

Your customer must be aged 19 years+ and in receipt of UC and be able to commit to the times and duration of the course.  16-18 years may be accepted if felt appropriate.
