Early years Apprenticeships Offers Level 2 and Level 3.
What is the difference between the two?
Level 2 (Immediate)
This qualification allows a learner to be as a qualified Level 2 Early Years Practitioner across the Early Years Workforce. Learners may work under supervision in a variety of roles such as nursery practitioner and classroom assistant. This entry level qualification is ideal for school leavers with little or no work-based experience or for those working under supervision such as a nursery assistant or playgroup assistant, giving them the skills and knowledge they need to progress their career.
LEVEL 3 (Advance)
A level 3 qualification enable the learners to gain their licence to practice and work as early years educators and progress into roles such as practitioner in reception classes in primary school and pre-school worker. After achieving a Level 2 childcare apprenticeship, learners can progress onto Level 3, for which you are required to hold a grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English by the end of the apprenticeship. This advanced level apprenticeship is worth considering for those who are currently employed within a childcare setting and wish to advance their personal development and profession.
