Level 2 Apprenticeship
Premier Plant Hire are looking for a technically minded person who has a passion for engineering and wants to train alongside their experienced fitters. The training on the job will comprise all aspects of servicing, testing, fault finding and repairing their equipment in-house and on customers’ sites.
The position of Apprentice Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic will be to become proficient in the following duties:
- Diagnosing faults
- Repairing
- Testing
- Servicing the large number of plant equipment that Premier Plant Hire offers both on their premises and at their customers’ sites
Apprentices can expect to get their hands dirty and will need to have a genuine interest in what makes a piece of machinery work and how to fix a problem if it doesn’t. The company would like the candidate to be passionate about engineering and enthusiastic about their job.

Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (one hour of breaks)

Things to consider
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
