You will learn and acquire the skills necessary to become a competent Plumber. You will also obtain all round knowledge of the construction processes leading to the finished product.

Apprenticeship summary

  • Working week

    Monday- Friday 9am-5pm.

    Total hours per week: 40.00

Duties will include:

  • Locating and identifying leaks
  • Repairing or replacing pipes and parts
  • Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job
  • Assisting with preparing cost estimates for clients
  • Helping the Plumber to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes
  • Cleaning the job site after the work is completed
  • Answering client queries
  • Following the Plumbers’ orders and instructions

  • Some school/college work experience or part time work in an associated field

  • Good keyboard and IT skills including experience of using Office packages
