Apprentice Events Assistant
Join the City of London’s Mansion House team in this role to support an events service that will promote corporate strategic objectives through the Mayoralty and Shrievalty.
You will coordinate and deliver events on behalf of the Mayoralty and Shrievalty, with a focus on the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress hospitality together with the office of the Sheriff’s, that achieve and support the strategic aims and key policy priorities of the Mayoralty.
As an Apprentice Events Assistant you will support the coordination and arrangements for the delivery of events delivered by the Events team on behalf of the Civic team which support the delivery of departmental and organisational aims and objectives and ensures that the reputation of the Mansion House and Central Criminal Court is maintained.
Experience of planning and organisational skills would be an advantage. Strong customer service and team working skills will be essential for the successful candidate. You will have strong communicating skills to liaise with high profile visitors at a senior level, in relation to events to achieve an effective outcome and an awareness of special and sensitive requirements.
This apprenticeship role is based at either the Mansion House or the Central Criminal Court.

To qualify for this apprenticeship, you will need to be:
- 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays
- Living in England
- Not in full-time education at the time of applying
If you are a non-UK citizen – you need to have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.
There are no pre-qualifications for this role and applications from those without qualifications are encouraged. Selection for the apprenticeship is on the basis of suitability and commitment to the apprenticeship not qualification.
