The position is aligned to the service proposition for processing and policy production and there will be opportunity to develop within the team over time, to an Account Handler or equivalent type role.

Key responsibilities in the role will include:

  • Providing day to day administrative servicing for our real estate insurer partners and client service teams
  • Ensuring thorough collection of the property risk data from the client service team
  • Creating entries and managing system updates on the core GREAC system, Asset
  • Creating or renewing schemes/policies/properties in the Asset system
  • Carrying out mid-term adjustments/cancellations in the Asset system
  • Issuing Certificates of Insurance and invoices to the client service team
  • Processing of Asset associated business in conjunction with the above
  • Maintaining records, forms and documents on the central filing system and shared drives
  • Collating data and statistics for our insurer partners and client service teams
  • Effectively manage queries with the client service teams
  • Providing feedback for insurer review meetings and actively contribute to the development of relationships
  • Providing support in delivering efficiencies within the processes carried out
  • Providing support in delivering enhanced reporting and system development to insurer partners
  • Supporting the Account Handler community and collaborating within the Insurance Administrator community
  • Taking responsibility for delivering results against projects or innovation initiatives
  • Contributing to effective, outcome based meetings

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in systems administration (once in the role)
  • Diligence and ability to take ownership and work on own initiative
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the Company
  • Commitment to undertake CII studies (along with the Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification)

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality
  • Ability to work individually as well as being a supportive and active team member.
  • Honesty and transparency in all things

Desired qualifications

  • 112 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels (or equivalent); or 280 UCAS points from exams sat prior to 2017 (excluding General Studies); and Five grade 9-4 ( A*- C) GCSEs including maths and English

  • Ongoing growth and development in the immediate team within and scope on a broader basis longer term
